Multi-layered chains are a big trend right now. That’s why I love the one above so much. But they want you to pay $125, which is insane. Instead get the same look for less below for $55.

Jada Pinkett Smith's Look for Less
The Smith’s are still out promoting The Karate Kid. I guess they have to find a way to pay for those $695 Jimmy Choo sandals that Jada has on. But I can do better than that price for the entire outfit. See my finds below. (To purchase, click on the images below.)
1. Hot Pink Mini Dress – $33.69
2. White Strappy Sandals – $30
3. Diamond Hoop Earrings – $38
4. Gold Bangle Bracelet – $17.90

Target does it again. This time they’re teaming with one of my all time favorite designer brands, Dolce Vita. I absolutely love this brand because it is affordable, reputable and very trendy.

The collection was originally thought to be sold only at the Harlem Target, but I just found out that you don’t have to go all the way to New York to grab a pair. Currently the collection is only being sold online but is scheduled to launch in stores August 22, 2010. (To shop the collection, click here.) Below are some pieces from Dolce Vita for Target’s collection. The collection is very versatile…they included boots, oxfords and flats in the collection. The price range for the collection is between $30-$35, which will make this collection a favorite in my book.

Studded Oxford Flats in grey ($29.99), Buckle Ankle Boots in black ($34.99), Lace-Up Boots in black and brown ($34.99), Studded Ballet Flats ($29.99; in black, gold and pewter), and Oxford Flats in black ($29.99).

Rose embellished sandals are turning out to be very popular this season. I’ve been seeing them more and more as the season grows long. As a matter of fact, I reported a pair of rose embellished sandals for less a few weeks ago. Because of their popularity, I wanted to tell you all about another pair for less. The rose embellished flat sandals above retail for $202, but I found a similar pair (below) for $38. And to be honest, I like the way the second pair looks a lot better. (To purchase, click on either image.)

Have you ever been between pedicures and had a nail emergency? Or have you applied a fresh coat of your favorite color to your nails only to find pesky bubbles in the finish of your nail color? Well I know that I’ve certainly been in these predicaments and they can be quite annoying. I have a few tricks that will easily fix those bothersome nail color issues.

1. Is your nail polish thick or sticky? Try adding a few drops of nail polish remover to your nail polish bottle. It will thin out the polish and make it apply easier.

2. Did you or your manicurist get polish on your skin? Just wash your hands if or hop in the shower. The water will wash off the excess polish.

3. Have bubbles dried in your nail color finish? Well, bubbles can usually get in the finish because we shake our nail polish bottles. Instead of shaking the bottle to mix the color, try rolling the bottle between your palms. Another reason could be because you’re not letting your nail polish coats dry. So make sure that you let your coats dry thoroughly before applying additional coats.

4. Did you smudge your fresh coat of polish? Try moistening your fingertip with a little bit of nail polish remover and rubbing it gently over the smudge until it goes away.

5. Do you have a chipping problem? Make sure that you apply a base clear coat before applying the color and a top clear coat after applying the color. If you are still finding that you have chipping issues, reapply your color to the chipped area only. Wait for the polish to dry, then use my little trick from number 4 (above) to smooth out the unevenness. Then apply a top coat.

If you use these 5 tricks, you bound to get longevity out of your manicures and pedicures.
