I know what you’re thinking…”boots in the middle of the summer?!?!?!” But I always say that it’s best to buy something off season because you can get it at a much better price. This look for less is a testament to that fact. In one of my searches, I found the Pour La Victoire boots above for $202. Then I found a similar pair (below) by Dolce Vita (a brand that is just as reputable and sometimes just as costly) for only $55 (on sale from $182). Talk about savings!! It’s seldom that I come across a look and look for less by that’s manufactured by the same designer. But get this (that’s right, it gets even more strange), I found another pair that was made by Target. What am I talking about? Well I found these wedges by Dolce Vita for $159 (above). Then I found the wedges by DV by Dolce Vita for $89 (first pair below). But then I found the same look at Target for only $29.99. You can hardly tell the difference between the three, so why not save the most mullah possible and get the pair from Target. Click on either image to shop.

Target does it again. This time they’re teaming with one of my all time favorite designer brands, Dolce Vita. I absolutely love this brand because it is affordable, reputable and very trendy.
The collection was originally thought to be sold only at the Harlem Target, but I just found out that you don’t have to go all the way to New York to grab a pair. Currently the collection is only being sold online but is scheduled to launch in stores August 22, 2010. (To shop the collection, click here.) Below are some pieces from Dolce Vita for Target’s collection. The collection is very versatile…they included boots, oxfords and flats in the collection. The price range for the collection is between $30-$35, which will make this collection a favorite in my book.
