Looks for Less

I just want to thank my friend, Rahma Al-Fassi, for this look for less. We were looking at shoes online when we came across the cute Vince Camuto sandals above. Well Rahma is much like me when it comes to prices and she thought that $118 was way too much. Then she remembered that she saw a similar pair at H&M for only $34.95 (below). I was so happy when she pointed this look for less out to me. I think I’ll look for them at H&M this weekend. Thanks Rahma :D !! Click on either image to shop.

It’s no secret that espadrilles will be a big hit this summer. I mean, they have been a summer necessity for about the last 10 years. With these shoes being classics, I would definitely want to find a quality pair that I can wear summer after summer. But I wouldn’t want to pay $220 for them like the pair by Paul Green above. I know that quality can cost much less than that, so I would go with the pair that costs $88 instead…the quality is just as good as the more expensive pair. Click on either image to shop.

I just love maxi dresses for the summer. I have tons. And I wanted to add the Ella Moss chevron maxi dress to my little collection. Only problem is that it costs nearly $200. That’s not in my budget right now. So I decided to find it for less…and I did!! I was able to find a similar dress for only $37. This is definitely the one I’ll add to my collection :) . Diane Kruger's Look for Less

Diane Kruger is one of the very few celebrities out there who actually styles herself. And for someone who styles herself, she surely isn’t afraid to take risks. The outfit above is no exception of her style risk-taking. A few weeks ago I talked about mixing prints, and above Diane has done it perfectly. The only thing that’s not perfect is the price of her 10 Crosby Derek Lam dress, which is nearly $1000. I know, I know, at first glance it looks like a blouse and skirt, but its really a dress layered with a striped skirt. (How creative :) )

Of course I was able to find her entire look for a lot less. See my finds below. Click on the images below to shop.
1. Green Floral-Print Top – $69
2. Black and White Striped Skirt – $74
3. Black Leather Watch – $23.10
4. Yellow Sandals – $30.99

I’m so into the animal prints these days. They’re so versatile you can wear them with almost everything. I recently came across a pair of Kate Spade snakeskin pumps that I absolutely adore and would go with almost anything. The only problem is that they’re a whopping $328. Who on a budget and in their right mind would pay that much for a pair of pumps. Not me!! And if you’re on a budget, you shouldn’t either!! So I set out to find a more budget-friendly pair. Guess what…I found 3 :D !

The first pair is made by Sam Edelman and cost $110. While that’s something that I could afford, I certainly wanted to find a less expensive pair.

Then I came across the pair by Bandolino below. They are only $47.99.

But that still wasn’t good enough for me. So I found the pair by Mossimo (at Target) for only $29.99. Click on any of the images to shop.
